Italmoda Furniture Terms of Sale

PAYMENT POLICY

Italmoda Furniture offers many options to pay for your purchase. All of the major credit cards, including American Express, MasterCard, VISA, and Discover are accepted, as well as personal checks, cash, cashier's checks, bank treasurer's checks, or money orders. Please be aware that the fee for the returned checks are subject to $35 fee.

 

ALL OF THE INVOICES MUST BE PAID IN FUL BEFORE THE PICK-UP OR SCHEDULED DELIVERY. NO CODs WILL BE ACCEPTED.

 

All of the Sales Order are double-checked . The errors in pricing or calculation are subject to adjustment upon your consent. Should you disagree with the adjusted sales price, we reserve the right to cancel the sale.

FLOOR SAMPLES
All sales of clearance items or floor samples are FINAL. There will no returns, refunds, exchanges, or service for any faults with this merchandise whatsoever.
RETURNS

Returns are accepted only for the items that were not subject to SPECIAL ORDER and can be accepted within 3 days from a date of delivery or pick-up for STORE CREDIT ONLY. All items must be in original packaging accompanied by proof of sale and be in resalable condition. There are no returns on custom-assembled furniture.

REFUNDS

The issue of refunds pertains to ONLY NON-SPECIAL ORDERERD ITEMS and PRIOR to delivery or pick-up. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS ON DELIVERED AND CUSTOM-ASSEMBLED FURNITURE WHATSOEVER.

 

THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO CASH REFUNDS. Refunds on checks will be made by Italmoda Furniture corporate office no sooner than 14 days due to bank delays. Refunds on Bank Cards will be credited only to the same Bank Card originally charged.

 

SPECIAL ORDERS ARE SUBJECT TO A 50% NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE DEPOSIT.

 

Absolutely NO REFUNDS on delivery or setup charges.

DELIVERY POLICY

DELIVERY SERVICES ARE OPTIONAL.

 

Italmoda Furniture offers different delivery options.

 

One of them is the curbside delivery where the purchased item(s) is(are) delivered to your front door.The customer is then responsible for bringing the item inside his/her home.

 

The customer can also pick the item(s) up at the store free of handling charges.

 

Delivery charges are individually based upon the weight of the delivered item and delivery destination. All furniture is delivered and insured by a delivery company that specializes in furniture delivery.

 

There are specific days that are designated have for each geographic location; the furniture will be delivered on such specific days only. Deliveries outside of our usual delivery route may be available for an additional charge.

 

The delivery crew is responsible for bringing your furniture into your home, uncrating it and placing it wherever you want it. They are also responsible for performing basic setup and removal of the packaging materials.

 

The delivery crew cannot and will not perform any work involving structural changes or alterations to your apartment/house (e.g. drilling walls, hanging shelves, mirrors, etc.) Should any structural changes become necessary, the customer is responsible for such work.

 

Delivery crew cannot and will not take the old furniture of customer home or handle any electronic equipment (e.g. TV, computers, etc.)

 

The customer is responsible for notifying Italmoda Furniture in advance of any special delivery conditions and for making sure that the measurement of the doorways, stairways, corridors, elevators, etc. is taken by the customer prior to the delivery in order to insure that the purchased items will fit through them. If delivery to a designated area is not reasonably possible, it will be made to such accessible area as determined by the delivery personnel.

 

It is the customer’s responsibility to let the Italmoda Furniture be aware of the unusual cases of deliveries (e.g. deliveries above the third floor without access to an elevator, etc.) because such cases will result in an additional charge at Italmoda Furniture's delivery personnel’s discretion.

 

It is the customer’s responsibility to INSPECT all deliveries at the time and place of delivery. Should the customer discover that the merchandise is damaged the customer must note the damage on the delivery slip and contact Italmoda Furniture to make an arrangement while the delivery company is still on the premises. Italmoda Furniture cannot accept the liability of damage that is discovered after our delivery crew had departed. Once the customer’s signs the receipt is it is assumed that the merchandise is received in good, acceptable condition.

 

Deliveries will not be made to the households that do not have a person of 18 years of age or older on premises.

 

The customer will be assessed a re-delivery charge in the event that no one is present to accept a scheduled delivery or such delivery is cancelled or refused for no acceptable reason.

 

Italmoda Furniture is not responsible for any indirect, special or consequential damages associated or related to your purchase or the delivery thereof.
